HAND EMBROIDERY

Hand embroidery on courtly robes was at certain times a particularly high-quality expression of elegance and wealth. Hand embroidered clothing culminated in the Tudor, Renaissance and 18th century. In the clergy through to our time.

Mauritia Kirchner was the first costume designer to revive this craft art for her works and orders from private customers.
Due to her worldwide contacts, she has found a partner in India with whom she has been able to create her templates based on historical originals onto authentic fabrics.
Our partner in India employs most of adult men of his home village, so that they no longer depend on the difficult agricultural structures.

Please contact Mrs. May if you would like to implement your concept with us.
We also accept orders only for embroidery.
